What I Help With

Services

Three things, done properly: SEO, Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, and the analytics and tracking that tells you whether any of it's actually working.

SEO

Most SEO work starts with a technical audit. I check for crawl errors, indexing issues, site speed problems, and the other stuff nobody looks at until something breaks. From there it's keyword research aimed at what people actually search for, and ongoing work to get a site showing up for it.

If you have a physical location, that includes local SEO too: keeping your name, address, and phone number consistent across the places search engines look for it. Inconsistent citations are a common (and fixable) reason local businesses don’t show up in map results.

For ecommerce sites, this also means product and category page optimization, plus making sure your product feed and Google Merchant Center listings are actually set up right. A lot of ecommerce SEO problems turn out to just be feed problems.

I track site health and rankings with SEMrush and Google Search Console. Where it's relevant, that now also includes how a site shows up in AI Overviews and AI-driven search results, not just traditional rankings. That's a newer area for me, so I won't pretend I have years of results to show for it yet.

Analytics & Tracking

This is the part most people skip, and the part I care about most. I set up Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, configure conversion tracking for calls, form fills, and purchases, and build reporting in Looker Studio so performance is visible without digging through three different platforms.

A lot of "results" I see when I first look at an account are actually measurement problems. Think a Smart Campaign reporting calls that turn out to be Google Business Profile direction requests, or conversions getting counted twice. Getting the tracking right is often what makes a real strategy change visible in the first place.

Questions

Do you bill hourly?

No. Every engagement is project-based or on retainer, not hourly.

Do you only manage Google Ads, or other platforms too?

I manage both Google Ads and Microsoft (Bing) Ads.

Do you handle ecommerce advertising and product feeds?

Yes. For ecommerce clients that includes Shopping campaigns and Google Merchant Center feed management, plus product and category page SEO.

Do you build websites or run Meta/TikTok ads?

No. My focus is SEO, Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, and analytics and tracking. I don't do web design, content marketing, or social ad management.

Do you only work with businesses in Connecticut?

No. I'm based in the Hartford, CT area, but I work with clients across the country.
